Zoom on over to our meetings.
To meet or not to meet. We decided we will meet, so ZOOM we go. We usually go over a book report about quilting by a member, a demonstration of a technique by a member, show and tell of members’ quilts, and a block challenge not to mention various announcements of other quilt happenings in the world. We even break out into smaller groups of 4 or 5 members to do a more intimate discussion of quilting and to connect with each other. September’s design topic was small projects that could be done for Christmas gifts.
The August challenge was for a deconstructed quilt of rail fence, and here’s one done by a member. Now isn’t it appropriate for Halloween. And you don’t even have to go to the trouble to carve a pumpkin!
If you’re interested in joining us, our next meeting is October 20, 2021 at 6:30 pm (HST) right in the comfort of your own sewing room.
